Will was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. Will calls the area home today with his wife, Mikaela, their son Simeon, daughter Marin, and dog, Lila. He graduated from Grove City College with a BS in Finance and has worked in the financial services industry ever since.
How would you describe yourself in one – three sentences?
I’m an easygoing, thoughtful person who enjoys learning, solving problems, and finding purpose in what I do. I’m naturally curious and tend to be a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, always looking for a new skill to develop, experience to try, or place to go.
What is something most don’t know about you?
I enjoy cooking. For better or worse, I enjoy cooking something I’ve never tried before when we have company over.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy sports of all kinds, staying active (currently on a Peloton kick), completing the latest home-carpentry project, attending orchestra and theatre performances, and spending time with family.
What are your wardrobe constants?
Whatever I’m wearing, I’m always aiming for something timeless, classic, and tailored. I’m also a sneaker enthusiast – I own too many pairs.
What is something interesting someone has said about you?
A few years ago, some close friends of mine wrote a note to each guest at their baby shower, sharing something they hoped their son would learn from that person. In my note, they wrote that they hoped their son would learn perspective from me.
What are you proud of?
I’m most proud of being a husband and father. My dad jokingly likes to say he was born to be a grandpa – I feel like I was born to be a dad.
