Audrey Petrus, CFP®
Born and raised north of Pittsburgh, Audrey Petrus attended Robert Morris University on a full academic scholarship. She graduated with a degree in Financial Mathematics and a minor in English (yes, she was the only mathematics student in the Shakespeare class.)
Joining a small Registered Investment Advisor in 2014, Audrey quickly specialized in tax planning and preparation while completing the requirements to receive her Certified Financial PlannerTM designation in 2018. She now lives in Beaver County with her certified pre-owned cat and grows more raspberries than she knows what to do with
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
A thoughtful, even-tempered, curious nerd who believes planning a trip is half the fun and balances her budget when stressed.
What is something most don’t know about you?
I know how to juggle.
What do you do in your free time?
I love reading and audiobooks, have a standing weekly game night with friends, and I’ve been practicing Toyama Ryu since 2014.
What are your wardrobe constants?
I love anything asymmetrical. It can be skirts, jackets, dresses, or anything: If it’s at an angle, I love it.
What is something interesting someone has said about you?
That I’m an excellent kitchen organizer. I had helped this friend move twice, organized their kitchen layout both times and they never had to reorganize where they kept their plates when finished.
What are you proud of?
I’m proud any time someone asks me for a recipe for a dish I’ve prepared. I love knowing I’ve made someone happy with something I’ve cooked.
